SPEAKER_02

We're back, episode 32.

SPEAKER_00

I'm back.

SPEAKER_02

I'm Zach. This is the ugly one right there, is Amy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm looking real scary today.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I guess I'm looking pretty scary too. We're the scary twins.

SPEAKER_00

We're we're pretty like we're very like JD.

SPEAKER_02

Joe Dirt?

SPEAKER_00

Joe Dirt. We're very Joe Dirt today. So like I can get my Southern redneck accent back out. And I'm like, I I came into the house. No, no. I had dirt streaked across my face. Shannon was like.

SPEAKER_02

People specifically requested you stop that.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, whatever. No, but this actually did happen. I walked into Shannon's house to record the podcast. I had like dirt all over my face. Like dirt all up my arms. And she was like, Ew, like she was like, do I need to go like hose you off in the backyard? Like, why are you so disgusting?

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say you also had you had dirt in your beard.

SPEAKER_00

You're so rude. I have PCOS. I have like two chin hairs, okay? And I can't, I had to stop getting laser because I was on Accutane.

SPEAKER_01

I love those poking out.

SPEAKER_00

Um, actually, speaking of Accutane and laser and waxing, I went to get my eyelashes done last week. And my lash girl Chanel, shout out Chanel. Um, so um we have a little extra time. Like, I was watching your podcast and I think we should do your eyebrows. And I was like, yeah, no, please. Like, I have not done, I don't touch my eyebrows ever. So I get my eyebrows done only when Chanel does them. And so obviously with Accutane, I haven't gotten them waxed in like over six months. And she was like, let's just do a test strip with some sensitive wax, see how it goes. Eyebrows were fine. Then we moved on to my nose. Cause she was like, We should wax your nose a little bit. And I was like, Yeah. Um, this one started bleeding, but it was fine. It wasn't like anything crazy, but it was like a little more sensitive. Because you know you're not supposed to wax till six till you've been off of Accutane for six months. I've only been off of it for like two months.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, why why? Can you just like tear your skin off or something?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Because it makes your skin like super thin and like sensitive. And like, so I was asking her, I was like, what? Cause I was like, wait, I'm scared to do the test trip. Like, what if it rips off my skin? I have a wedding in like two days. And she's like, no, no, you'll be fine. And I was like, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Just tears all the skin off.

SPEAKER_00

But she said that did happen to her because this girl came in and didn't tell her that she was on Accutane, and she like it didn't tear off skin, but she just got super, super red, and like there were like a little dots of blood. And she was like, Are you are you like on Accutane or something? And she was like, Yeah, is that bad? And Chanel was like, Well, you could have like given me a heads up. So, PSA, if you guys are dum-dums and don't know, you can't get lasered, you can't get waxed. Like, even going out into the sun, you have to be very, very careful if you are on Accutane.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you, Dr. Amy Scala. Appreciate that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Thanks for one dum-dums too.

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's like they make it very clear. Your doctor makes it very clear like you're on Accutane. You have to be so careful in the sun. You're not allowed to get lasered. Like, even when I used to get lasered before I even started Accutane, every single time I would go every five weeks. Every five weeks, they would ask me, Have you been on antibiotics lately? Have you been on Accutane in the last six months? Like, so it's like they're actively asking these questions, and people out here will just like lie. And I'm like, Well, maybe they forget.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. And maybe the doctors don't ask every single time.

SPEAKER_00

You don't, you don't forget something like that.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. Cut them some slides.

SPEAKER_00

I am counting down the months, days, hours, minutes, seconds until I can get laser hair removal again.

SPEAKER_02

Start with that chin. Start with that chin.

SPEAKER_00

I have like two chin hairs. Everybody everybody has chin hair, okay?

SPEAKER_02

But those are like longer than mine get. Like sometimes I have to like lend you a little comb to brush them down.

SPEAKER_00

Sometimes I forget about them. I'm like, oh yeah. Like, oh yeah, there they are.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah. I might be a man.

SPEAKER_00

Rude.

SPEAKER_02

Anyway. Okay, but you and I. Let's just get started off hot because I was really angry at you the last couple days. Like pissed.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I know. And it's like, I I at least had like a decent excuse.

SPEAKER_02

No, you didn't. No, you didn't.

SPEAKER_00

I did.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, let me lay out the scenario here. I'm back for a day and a half. And so we want to do the podcast in person. I told Amy, let's do it at this time. I reminded you multiple times. And then you could have told me at any point that you couldn't do it, but you kept saying, yes, yes, yes, I'll do it. Then it comes to the time, and you just ignore me. You ignore me the night before and then ignored me that next morning.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I wasn't like purposefully, I wasn't like, okay, I'm purposefully ignoring you. Like I wasn't intentionally ignoring you. I was at my friend's wedding. I was a bridesmaid. I was at the wedding from 10 30 a.m. until 10 p.m. I had like an hour and a half break in between that. So like I was, and I'm a bridesmaid, so it's like you can't leave early. You can't like I'm in the it was a ceremony of the side.

SPEAKER_02

I never asked you to do it Saturday. I never asked you to do it Saturday.

SPEAKER_00

I know, but listen to I I'm still going. It was the hottest day of the year on record.

SPEAKER_03

Roughly.

SPEAKER_00

It was all outside. There was absolutely no shade. And we were outside the entire time. So I didn't leave that place until 10:30. I was watching Rachel's three kids. And because I had the wedding, I like had all the kids like situated with other people. So I'm down in Oram for this wedding and I call Drew's sister who had Ford for the day. And I was like, hey, like I'm in Orim. Do I need to come get Ford? And she was like, no, no, he's asleep. Like he's totally fine. And I was like, okay. So I start driving back to Rachel's house to get Baron Isla. I get off the PG exit. I get a call from Drew's sister. She's like, hey, so uh Ford just woke up and he's saying he wants to go home. So then I had to turn back around, go back like 25 minutes to Orim to pick up Ford, then back 25 minutes to Alpine to get Bear and Isla. I pull up to Rachel's house. At this point, it's what 11 or 11:30. I roll up to Rachel's house. Her front door is wide open. I was terrified because at this point she had been posting that she was in Paris. And I was like, okay, I'm scared. Like, what if somebody's in the house? What if she just got robbed? Like, I don't know. So then I call my friend. I'm like, hi, uh, where are you? Can you and your husband, can your husband come like with his guns? And can he come walk through the house? And she was like, oh my gosh, we're at our cabin, like two hours away, or else we would. So then I called my other friend who lives like around the corner from Rachel. Her and her husband come. She's holding a can of pepper spray. Her husband's holding an like a metal baseball bat because he was a baseball player. And he goes walking inside. Dash, he says, Dash is dead asleep, right next to the front door, just like zonked out. He walks in and Dash just like looked at him and was like, okay, like, didn't even like, didn't growl, didn't bark, nothing. I was like, worst guard dog ever. Unless you're coming to Rob. He's the best guard dog. He's vicious. He will rip your skin off. Anyway.

SPEAKER_02

Good cover.

SPEAKER_00

So they walked through the house while me and the kids sat in the car. The kids were melting down. They were like, we're scared. We can't sleep here. Weekend. And I was like, no, you guys, it's fine. Like, our friends are walking through the house. If there's anything, like they'll see it. And the husband comes walking out and he he was like, come here. And and I was, he was like, Were those drawers? Because Rachel has like a like a chest thingy right as you walk in her front door. And he was like, I actually am worried that somebody was like in there and was like rummaging around because like all these drawers were open. There were knives on the ground. And I was like, oh yeah, somebody was rummaging around, but it was just Isla. She was opening up her PR packages. And he was like, he was like, oh, so that's normal. And I was like, yeah. And he was like, okay, for a second, I actually was like, wait, was somebody like ransacking the house? So he walked through the entire house, every square inch of that house. It was fine. We go in, and I'm like, thank you so much for coming over. Like, it's literally so nice. It was like 11:30 on a Saturday night. Like they were in bed when I called. And the last like two weeks, I have called these friends for like everything. Like Megan had a flat tire. I'm like, Arielle, hurry. Where where are you and Sean? Megan needs help.

SPEAKER_02

And she's like, Okay, we let's circle back to that, but okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. She's like, uh, we could be there in like 10 minutes. And I was like, okay, let me call Megan. Like anytime I ever need help, I always call Ariel and Sean because they are the nicest people. Anyway. So then it was just like in my mind, like, okay, the front door was open for who knows how long. Like then it just like my irrational anxiety. I did not sleep that night. I was I did not sleep for some reason. And I think Megan can attest to this. For some reason in our minds, once like 5, 6 a.m. hits, it's like we're safe. Nothing bad can hit at 5 or 6 a.m. Like no bad guys are coming to get us at 5 a.m. because like the sun's starting to come up. It's like morning. It's like, okay, it's fine. We've made it through the night.

SPEAKER_02

That reminds me of like as a kid, there was always like that time. I'd look at the clock and be like, oh, okay, I can relax now. It's 4 30. No one's coming. We're good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah. So I finally fell asleep at like 5 a.m. And then I did not wake up the next day, Sunday, until like 1:30.

SPEAKER_02

Who was watching the kids?

SPEAKER_00

They were dead asleep too. They were, we were all so tired. I don't, I think all of us, like, we did not sleep that night because I think we were all scared.

SPEAKER_02

Um, all I heard was a whole lot of excuses. That's all it's coming to me right now.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, sound off in the comments. I feel like okay, and also this was my first offense. It's not like I'm Emily, where I'm constantly like, oh yeah, I can do this time, and then I'm constantly bailing. This was my first offense.

SPEAKER_02

But it's like you know. You texted in the family chat. I I know you're awake. I texted you tomorrow morning, this time. You could have just said, uh, I don't know. We'll see.

SPEAKER_00

Well, no, I was I was planning on it. I was planning on it. I didn't purposefully do it. I had I I even set an alarm for like 9:30. I slept right through it. Because even Isla, even Isla was like, your alarm kept going off, so I just turned it off because you weren't waking up. I was like, okay.

SPEAKER_02

That is insane.

SPEAKER_00

I was very mad because it's like I only I apologize because it would have been so much better if we could have done it in person. It just was not a great week.

SPEAKER_02

Well, this next Saturday, you better be ready.

SPEAKER_00

Let me just triple check.

SPEAKER_02

Well, she's checking her calendar just to make sure she fit me in in her busy, busy schedule. Going back to Megan's flat tire. This is this is something that, and we'll come back to this guy. I have a couple things that chap my ass this week.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh, oh, I can't wait to hear what chaps your ass.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, maybe we can just dive into it. I got, well, I guess it'll be three. Because uh the first one, uh this one wasn't really planned, but you brought it up. And this is kind of goes for like the schala sister thing. Chaps.

SPEAKER_00

How helpless we are.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yes, of course. But it's then it's the freak out of like something happens and no one can just like take a breath and be like, okay, exactly. It goes up again helpless, but it's like, how can I help myself right now? What should I do?

SPEAKER_00

Well, no, because we jumped to the worst case scenario. It's like, for example, when I rolled up and the front door was left open, it's I wasn't like, oh, it was bare because he came inside to look for something, and then he forgot to close it all the way, and then the wind blew it open. Drew looked at the cameras, that's exactly what happened. No, no, it was there's an axe murderer in the house, and he's hiding in Rachel's curtains, waiting to jump out and kill me and then kidnap the kids.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. Or Megan's gets the flat tire. This one, I was like, oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_00

I was like, the car's exploding.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I I don't like, I mean, that's obviously one of my GPS. I don't want her to have a flat tire on the road because it's also just unfortunately in today's world, like being stranded on the side of the road, you don't know who's gonna stop for you. That's pretty sketchy.

SPEAKER_00

It's dangerous in every sense of the word. If the tire blows, it's dangerous. If some creepy guy stops, dangerous.

SPEAKER_02

To help you, yeah, exactly. But what really got me was the calling and like freaking out instead of like so. What I did, I just got and looked at her location. I'm like, Megan, you're literally across the street from a tire shop. Pull in. I was like, what is happening? And then, like, you, you're calling your neighbors to go save her. It's like, why are you calling your neighbors? Like, slow down. You're in a very busy area. Maybe there's a tire shop, maybe there's someone that can help you. And and then she goes in there, and this is another thing. Okay, this is I just have a lot of things that chaps my ass from this week. Then you go to a tire shop. I hate tire shops because they swindle you. They know that you can't, you're helpless most of the time, and they know that they can take advantage of women.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's like a damsel in distress. Nine times out of ten, the girls are like, just tell me what you recommend and I'll buy it. Like, don't, don't. Yeah, it's just like they know exactly. They're like, Yeah, you're gonna need this. And they're like, Okay, well, he said I needed it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so it was a one tire, and what I really wanted them to do was put on the spare tire. And then may, and so like after this all happened, because Megan wasn't responding when this all was going on. I was like, Did you tell him to put the spare on? She's like, No, like there's not a spare tire. And I was like, Megan, yes, there is. She's like, Oh, wait, yeah, that's right. That's the Tesla. Teslas don't have spare tires. I was like, Yeah, I wanted her to put the spare tire on so we can go to like why don't Teslas have spare tires? They don't have any room for a spare tire, and they get they they have run flats on all of them, so then you can drive like 60 or 100 miles on the tires, even when it's popped.

SPEAKER_03

Oh.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, anyway. And any car can get those. But anyway, so they don't have the spare tires. So then I was like, well, why don't you have them put the spare tire on? Because then we could go like shop around, maybe find the cheapest option, maybe do a little bargain shopping, or we could go to like a store that also has um a car shop in Dallas. So if we needed like something happens with the warranty on the tire, we can go get it replaced. But of course, the freaking place that she went, they don't even tell her she has a spare tire, they just give her the tire, which was a $900 tire, and just and then keep the car overnight so she can't go anywhere else to get the tire. And I was just like, this is this pisses me off. Like, of course, you're just cornering her into paying the most expensive tire, yep, and giving her no option. So that pissed me off.

SPEAKER_00

Um can I tell you about the time I got a flat tire?

SPEAKER_02

Please.

SPEAKER_00

So I had just bought my Range Rover. This was like five years ago. I just bought my Range Rover, I'm driving along, all of a sudden it starts beeping at me, and it's like PSI zero. And I was like, oh shit. I pull over, I get out and look, it is like dead flat. Luckily, I was in actually I was in that same area that Megan was at. So I I think I went to the same tire shop. So I go to the tire shop, and they're like, ooh, yeah, this is bad. Like this is fine. You have a huge hole. I had like a nail in my tire that came out and then left a massive hole. And he was like, But this is the thing. We can't sell you one tire, we have to sell you four.

SPEAKER_02

Pisses me off so bad.

SPEAKER_00

And he was like, and it's the law, or so he said something where it's like something maybe not quite like it's the law, but some it was like borderline, like if you don't do this, it's illegal. Like he was like, we can't sell you just one tire, we have to sell you four. And I was like, Okay. So then I bought four tires, and Michael wasn't answering. I think he was in a meeting, and then he called me after, and I was like, I just spent like two grand on tires, and he was so mad. He was like, Are you freaking kidding me? He was like, You don't need four tires, you just need the one. And I was like, I don't know. And he was like, Let me talk to the guy, and I was like, I already left.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. If there was someone that would buy premium air from a tire shop, it would be you four.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I did, I did pull that prank on Michael and he flat out bleed me. And he was like, Premium air, how's it different than air? Tell me the difference a premium air and air. It's just air. Anyway, I can send you the video so we can clip it, but it's so funny. He was like, freaking hell.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, if you hadn't actually seen that TikTok and you went to a tire shop and someone was like, I got you these tires, and then also I can upgrade you $20 each tire for premium air to make it last longer. You would buy it 100%.

SPEAKER_00

100% I would buy it. A, I don't know anything about tire air. Maybe that is a thing. And B, I'm just a girl, and honestly, I don't want to know. It's like, do whatever you're gonna do. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, KK.

SPEAKER_00

That is a blue job. That's a blue job. I think pink. Not anymore. I'm like a little, I'm like mixed. What's blue and pink mixed? Purple? I'm purple now. Because I'm like a little redneck.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, this is what okay. We need to think here. Start using our brains.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because I hate the comment that I'm a girl.

SPEAKER_00

Because it's just like no, but at the end of the day, I am just a girl.

SPEAKER_02

But look what you can do now. Next time you're in there in that situation, hmm. Let me ask my trusty friend ChatGBT and just talk to it.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, at the time at the time, at the time, for me at least, chat GPT was not a thing. This was like six years ago.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just saying now. I'm saying now from moving forward. So some friendly advice of the city.

SPEAKER_00

Well, now I know because yeah, I got lectured for 45 minutes by Michael about how not to get swindled at a tire shop. And I even texted Megan when she was, I can pull up the receipts. When she was at the tire shop, I said, do not let them swindle you into four tires. Only get one. And she said, Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you. Thank you for doing that, because I guarantee they try to push for that.

SPEAKER_00

So I learned my lesson. And sometimes all it takes is a lecture for Michael.

SPEAKER_02

I agree. And I'm giving you another one because I think this would actually be really good. And I I like this. Next time you're in that situation, you feel like you're getting swindled because it's a dude and you don't know what's going on. I would literally just pull up my phone and be like, hey, Chad G, this salesman is telling me that I need to do this. Oh, he will feel like the biggest idiot.

SPEAKER_03

Could you imagine?

SPEAKER_02

Also, chat will give you the right answer and he'll be like, uh, what you're like, he's not gonna be able to argue. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_03

It's true. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So you could have been like, you could be like, is it true state law that I have to buy all four new tires when I pop one tire? Like the guy would have been like, oh shoot.

SPEAKER_00

He's like, That's not true. Actually, actually, we just changed our policy. It's that's not it anymore.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'd be like, and then you could be like, Well, I could actually see you because you're lying to me, but anyway. Um, that's why I think you should do that. Be great.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that would be it's a good idea.

SPEAKER_02

And I would love to just kind of I would want to see their reaction because they would feel like the biggest idiots.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I'm sure. Um so what else tapture asks? What's next on the list?

SPEAKER_02

The second thing is kids' electric bikes.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, no.

SPEAKER_02

Like, what is going on? So Megan and I We go to In N Out. It was Friday night. She picked me up from the airport. We all that's like kind of our tradition is we always go to the airport after I mean go to In N Out after picks picks me up on Friday nights. The best tradition ever.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Go get the food.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna get in and out after this. I haven't eaten anything all day. I'm starving. Sorry.

SPEAKER_02

Thanks for the random thought. And so we pull up through In N Out, go through the drive-thru, and there were so many kids. There must have been like some football thing going on. You know, it's high school football starting again.

SPEAKER_00

There doesn't have to be anything going on. In N Out is like the high school hangout. No matter what city, state you're in, it it's just like they're like little ants. They're everywhere.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, it's so good. But anyway, I think it was football because there was cheerleaders and um all the dudes in like the football. I don't know. I think there was something going on. I think it was like their first.

SPEAKER_00

It was probably like the blue and white game.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, that's what I think it was. So then we pull through and I look over. There are so many electric bikes. Like, I had never seen anything. And all these bikes are like probably like three to five thousand each. I'm like, what's going on? I would rather like why not just buy your kid a crappy car, but these bikes go.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that would ruin their image.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh, it kills me. Their stupid image.

SPEAKER_00

It's all about keeping up with the Joneses.

SPEAKER_02

I know, and I I drove a nice Toyota Corolla 98 back in the day. That thing was rough. Um, but anyway, they are so dangerous, they go so fast. Because Megan and I were talking about this back in our time, it was like the Vespas were the big thing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But no one, like parents didn't want their kids on Vespas because they're dangerous. It was like maybe a couple kids had them at school.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And everyone was always like, that's kind of weird, but but you weren't allowed, like you could ride them like in your cul-de-sac. You weren't allowed to like ride them on the trails, you weren't allowed to ride them like out on the street.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, exactly. And but now all the kids have them, they fly, and then so regard so this was at like nine. No, this is probably like 9 30 or 10 p.m. when this happened. So then we're driving back. Hold on.

SPEAKER_00

I just I have to make sure that Megan pressed record on the camera.

SPEAKER_02

I just oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_00

I'm like a little nervous that she didn't one second.

unknown

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Please. Okay, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_00

I just like my heart sank for a second.

SPEAKER_02

That's I luckily I have a red on mine.

SPEAKER_00

You know how technologically challenged that girl is.

SPEAKER_02

We know. We know. Anyway, so then we're driving back after In N Out, and we're just going through like the neighborhood streets. It's 10:30, and there are two little bikes that don't even have lights on the back of them, with one kid, two cheerleaders on the back, and then another one that had like two and then another like at least two kids on one. So, like, what is happening? I was like, this is so incredibly dangerous. Who is buying these for their kids? And then I hear about stories, stories all the time of kids dying, literally dying from these electric bikes because they're so fast.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, two 13-year-old girls just died in like Saratoga Springs.

SPEAKER_02

Like, what is happening?

SPEAKER_00

And then they ran a stop sign. It's like the kids don't know like the laws of the land, and they ran the stop sign.

SPEAKER_02

But keep going.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that was true.

SPEAKER_02

I know.

SPEAKER_00

And and it's like, oh, like I'm not a car, so I don't have to like abide by like the stop sign. They ran the stop sign, got hit by a car, and they died 13 years old. Like that, they had their full lives ahead of them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Like, I'm not, I mean, look, I'm not a perfect parent either, obviously. And I and I'm I haven't had kids that age, so I get maybe it's hard, kids don't want that, but like, what are we doing?

SPEAKER_00

No, Emily, Emily and Rachel kind of fell into the trap of like buying the dirt bikes and like the electric stasic bikes that are like the little ones, and then buying like the whatever. And they've taken all the keys away because within the last like two months, we know like personally, like 10 kids in Alpine who have either gotten hit by cars, gotten into bad accidents crashing into other bikes, or kids are just dumb. Like I see this one kid in Emily's neighborhood, he goes flying up and down this road. There's massive construction trucks everywhere. He's not wearing a helmet. And actually, Alpine Police has really cracked down. If they see a kid on the bike, it's gone. Like the police will take it.

SPEAKER_02

Good. Because how are these even allowed on the street? They have to be, they're going that fast. They need to be registered.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And have to have a license plate. But these kids are just riding around on them everywhere. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And they're like 10 years old.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. Like, just think when you were 10.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_02

I I was going like I was crazy on my bike just flying down the hill. You know what I mean? Going fast on a stupid bike. But yeah, if I had that much power and you're riding around on that thing, that is wild.

SPEAKER_00

So Yeah, actually, when Rachel, I think she was probably like 14 or 15 for her birthday, or it was something, because it was in the summer. I can't remember what it was, but my parents got her a Vespa and she was taking me for a ride, and she kind of like lost control and hit the curb. And we both went flying like over the handlebars, and we both like landed on these rocks. And I swear I broke my tailbone. And my mom and dad were like, okay, that's it. Like the Vespa is gone. They sold the Vespa the next day. They've never, like, the most we ever had was a pedal bike and like a push razor scooter.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I was never allowed. My dad was very strict of those things. I was never allowed to ride dirt bikes, uh, four-wheelers. I was never really allowed to touch anything like that.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And I was annoyed. I'd like I'd always be kind of annoyed because I would go, for example, like camphouse for camping or whatever. Uh I'm not camphouse for camping, duh, for scouts. And I was not allowed to get on a four-wheeler. Like my dad, because if he found out, he would have been so angry with me. And so I never did. And I hated it. And I was always like, this is stupid. But looking back, like you never know what can happen on those things so quickly. No, especially with just teenagers, you know?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, even like I so with our ranch in Colorado, I grew up riding four-wheelers, like zipping around on our ranch, going through like all the trail rides, whatever. And now that I'm older and like watching my nieces and nephews do it, I am like, sell the four-wheelers. Like, we got to get rid of these things. They're too young. The four-wheelers are bigger than them. It's just, I'm like, how did my parents and my grandparents like let all of the their and we would be gone for hours? We would like pack bags and snacks and blankets, and we'd like go have a picnic somewhere out on the 10,000-acre ranch. And then a few hours later, we'd we'd come trapsing back in. And it was so fun. Like it was some being at the ranch and four-wheeling with my cousins are some of the best memories I have. But like as an adult, and now like that my brain is somewhat developed, like I'm like, no Canon, like you're not allowed to touch a four-wheeler. Like, come sit inside. It just freaks me out.

SPEAKER_02

Like just thinking of personalities, too, of like you girls going out and doing this versus like a like a canon, and he's thinks he's cool at 12 and can go fast. Like it's it also kind of goes into personalities. Like, for example, I Dean, never. Yeah. Never is he getting on one because he will have zero fear of anything. And it's just like how it's gonna have to be, but and he's gonna hate me because I'm gonna yell at him and tell him no, can't do that. But like just knowing the personalities, I that's why I feel like what you guys did would be fine because you all aren't gonna go do anything crazy, but you get some little boys like Canon or Graydon and Dean running out there. Uh, I I I kinda do it. I kinda do it.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. We were pretty crazy.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I don't, I mean, we obviously weren't as crazy as my boy cousins, yeah, but like I was hitting those jumps and I was getting some air on those four-wheelers.

SPEAKER_02

Oh gosh. Megan?

SPEAKER_00

No way, Megan was me and Megan. That's actually because it's like we have like this little ditch, and we'd be like, let's go hit the jump, see who can get the highest on like these massive four-wheelers. And then we'd like turn super sharp and like drift. It's like we could have rolled.

SPEAKER_02

We could like you were drifting?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

unknown

What?

SPEAKER_02

No, no, no, no, no, no. That that stuff scares me so bad because those things roll, you're crunched.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you're done for. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Speaking of crunched, the totally round tangent. Um, we went to a rodeo this weekend.

SPEAKER_00

I'm so sad I couldn't go. Like, actually, kind of if you're listening, I loved your wedding, it was beautiful. I'm so sad I couldn't go to this rodeo.

SPEAKER_02

That is, I don't know I've been to a lot of rodeos. It is the best rodeo I've been to. It's like legit because they get real ranked riders in there and everything. Like, it is so good.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, did they do the muck and bust?

SPEAKER_02

No, they don't do that there. They've never done it.

unknown

Dang it.

SPEAKER_00

I want Dean and Weston to do that.

unknown

I know.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna try and find a spot to do in Texas one time.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that would be so fun.

SPEAKER_02

So, anyway, though, and it was so good. The it took a while for anyone to even fall. Like on the bareback riders, no one fell. Yeah, they were they were all just riding, they were legit.

SPEAKER_00

That's good because usually majority of it, everybody just like falls. None of them make it to the eight seconds.

SPEAKER_02

Nobody fell. They were all so good. Anyway, then we got to the bulls. This is going back to being crunched. This bull going crazy in the stall, you know, finally comes out. And like he it took him forever to get out because he kept having to like reset because the ball was bucking so much. He comes out, the bull jumps. Luckily, the dude falls off at just the right time because then the bolt jumped again. Bull landed on its side. I had never seen this ever. And literally was like two feet from landing on the guy. It was crazy. He would have been he would have been crunched, like legit. But anyway, sorry.

SPEAKER_00

I've I've seen guys who like fall off and then the bull will come down and like land on them and then go back up and land. Like, it is so scary, what those bull riders and even the saddle bronch guys like it's scary.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's like you feel a tough, and then you go watch that. It's like a dude, and I'm like, I'm a sissy, like I'm a straight sissy compared to these guys. I I don't know how they do it.

SPEAKER_00

This guy that I know legit almost died. Like he was in the ICU in a coma because he was a bull rider. Actually, I don't know if he was a bull rider, if he was a bareback rider. But yeah, he fell off and it just like kept coming down on him. And like, even though you have your protective gear, it's like the horse, that's a 1200-pound animal. A bull, that's like a 2,000-pound animal, and they are mean. Like they will purposefully go after you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they'll attack. Yeah. Anyway, so that was a random random tangent there. Sorry.

SPEAKER_00

Um, anyway, speaking, oh no, what?

SPEAKER_02

I was just gonna go back to electric bikes and close out the thought there, but oh yeah, no, close it out.

SPEAKER_00

Finish this out.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I was just gonna say, I I hate them. Please stop buying them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, honestly.

SPEAKER_02

Like, what is happening?

SPEAKER_00

They need to be illegal.

SPEAKER_02

That is my hot take. Like, please stop buying those freaking things because kids are just getting hurt all the time.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think that's a hot take.

SPEAKER_02

I hate them. Um I did have one more chaps my ass moment, but I've kind of been dragging it out. Do you want me to say it or do you want to move on?

SPEAKER_00

No, say it.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Sorry, Megan. But she is the worst back seat driver.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, we all are.

SPEAKER_02

She, oh, that is one thing that really chaps my ass.

SPEAKER_00

When when did she do that? Like driving to the rodeo?

SPEAKER_02

No, driving back to the airport. So it's like so I get home.

SPEAKER_00

So this was just yesterday.

SPEAKER_02

No, no, driving. Uh it was on Friday. So I get home. I'm home for 10 minutes in the car. And then I get this lecture about how bad of a driver I am because she I had to press my brakes once on the freeway. It was insane. That really, like, I hate it because I hate back to drivers in general. Because it's like, what am I? You think I'm trying to crash right now? You think I'm setting up like my goal is to do that?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's like you're doing the best you can.

SPEAKER_02

It's like, oh my gosh. But my dad is also a bad back to driver, too. He he tells me I'm the worst driver he knows, all this stuff because I don't go too fast. Oh. But I don't go fast. I don't. He just likes to yell at me. And so then Megan, but Megan hears that from my dad, and then that gives her some more confidence to like yell at me about it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she feels a little more validated. She's like, even your dad thinks you're a bad driver. It's not just me.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. And so I was like, Megan, I've been home for 10 minutes. I see you guys for two days out of the freaking week. I just want to have some fun. I don't want to be lectured. Like, let's just let's just have a good weekend.

SPEAKER_00

So she was she was lecturing you because you slammed on the brakes or what?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Yes. Because whenever like, for example, we what happened was I was merging onto the freeway coming out of the Silic Airport. And so I start merging, and then obviously, like I'm kind of looking over to see who's coming, so see if I can get over. And then the people in front of me started slamming on the brakes. So I look back, I gotta slam on my brakes. Like a normal person has to. And then I hurried and got over because there was no one coming and kind of went around the whole little mess. And I got a big lecture for that. The kids are in the car. What are you trying to do? Like, come on, be a good driver, blah, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, Megan. I did like nothing happened. Like, what what what is going on?

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, because it's like you were checking your blind spot, like you were making sure there was no like you could merge over.

SPEAKER_02

Like I was in control. It wasn't like I was swerving trying to avoid a car, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, yeah, I get it. Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. I get it because I am a really bad backseat driver. Not only with certain people though. With Emily and Rachel, I'm a bad backseat driver because they are two of the worst drivers that I know. Shannon, I'm also like, sometimes I think Shannon like forgets what she's doing. And then all of a sudden she's going like nine miles an hour. I'm like, I'm like, what are you doing? Why are you going so slow? And she's like, oh, sorry. I was just thinking. Or like. Or I'm like, mom, let's go to Swig. And she's like, okay, get in the car. And then all of a sudden we're at the temple. I'm like, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, what? That's happening.

SPEAKER_00

Swig is the other way. She's like, oh, sorry. I just, I'm just like a horse going back to the stable. I'm just going back to the temple.

SPEAKER_01

I'm like, that is so funny.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

That's hilarious.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Sometimes I I backseat drive Michael, and he gives me the same comeback every single time. He goes, he goes, you know, I don't even know how I make it throughout the day driving without you in the car because like I don't know what I would do without you here. It's like I can't figure it out on my own.

SPEAKER_02

And I'm like, it's such a good comeback. It's like, wow, how do I even drive? How do I exist?

SPEAKER_00

No, he's literally like, I don't know how I live my life without you guys telling me what to do. I'm like, love you though. It's out of love.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. Who do you think is the worst backseat driver in the family?

SPEAKER_00

Probably Megan and Shannon.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, those two are pretty bad. And it's it's even worse when they get together.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

They go.

SPEAKER_00

They really egg each other on.

SPEAKER_02

And sometimes Megan drives, but very rarely use it Shannon. And those two will get going. They get going at each other. Very like chirpy, just like quick.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, just like bicker back and forth. Those two are like the bickering betties. Like anytime I'm home, they could be bickering about like the air. And I'm like, you guys. And Megan's like, it's actually 68 degrees. And Shannon's like, it's actually 70. I'm like, you guys, like, why are we fighting about the air? Like it's so stupid. And they're like, we're not even bickering. And then they start bickering that with me that they're not even bickering.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. They're very similar in that way.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It's funny.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It's funny. Anyway, you were about to say something. Enough with my chaff my ass moments. That was well.

SPEAKER_00

I was just gonna say, speaking of the rodeo, because all roads lead back to Amy and her horses, the reason why I'm so tired is because I was up at 8 a.m. this morning driving like two and a half hours down to Wales, Utah, to pick up my second horse.

SPEAKER_02

Welcome to the family Flabby.

SPEAKER_00

Don't say it. Her name is Fabby, and she is beautiful, and I love her.

SPEAKER_02

I did actually like the like she has a cool color to her.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she's a Palomino. For those who didn't see my Instagram stories today, she's a Palomino, and I just want to read you Michael's text. So I because I bought her, I bought her and Doc custom bridles that say their names. I'm showing the camera. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So they say their names. So I send the picture of Fabby and I said, picked up Fabby Girl on our way home. Michael goes, he goes, who the F is Fabby Girl? I said, Michael, she's your new horse. What are you talking about? He didn't respond.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Fabby, I'm not gonna lie, it's not my favorite name, but I have a question. I want to guess how much those things, custom things cost.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Yeah. While you guess, let me pull up the email so I have my receipts.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna guess. Like, hey, wait, does it is it just right there, or is it like go onto the saddle?

SPEAKER_00

Like, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's it's just a halter. A leather, a leather halter with a custom nameplate. Go.

SPEAKER_02

$450 each.

SPEAKER_00

Do you think I'm that insane?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

There you go.

SPEAKER_00

I'm insane. I'm insane. I'm not that insane. Hold on. I gotta I have to find the order. I'm still trying to find out one sec.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_00

NRS world. If you're listening to this.

SPEAKER_02

Who?

SPEAKER_00

NRS world. If you're listening to this, sponsor me because one, I love you. And second, you you're taking a lot of Michael's money.

SPEAKER_02

That's what I was gonna say. If I was that company, I would say, why in the hell would I sponsor you? You're already spending all your money at my store anyway.

SPEAKER_00

I know. They're just so good. Oh, wait, maybe it's not NRS world.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. Oh, maybe it's I don't really want to take 20 minutes to find this. Can you just like it?

SPEAKER_00

Smart pack equine. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

SPEAKER_02

What do we got? What do we got? 450 each.

SPEAKER_00

I can tell you right now, it's not 450.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I know how you round things and justify things in your head. Okay, hold on. Let me let me go 450.

SPEAKER_00

Let me go to the website because it's not pulling up.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly.

SPEAKER_00

I actually can't even remember. I can't remember if I got it from Smart Pack or if I got it from Oh my heck. Okay, track and equipment, attack, halters and lead ropes.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm not gonna be surprised when I'm right. Because I I just know how numbers work in your head.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, do you? Do you really?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, $500 is like a hundred bucks. Maybe even fifty. Drop the zero.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you're stupid. Because it was come on.

SPEAKER_02

Sometime today.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, I'm trying. I'm like actually trying. Oh, this one. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Well, sorry for the delay, everybody.

SPEAKER_00

Forty-nine ninety-five.

SPEAKER_02

Forty-nine ninety fifty bucks?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh, well. No shot. No, bro. I'm Oh, it's this one. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. Exactly. Okay, sell us the price.

SPEAKER_00

Oh wait. That's for that's a mini halter, so Oh my gosh. Potted halter.

SPEAKER_02

How much?

SPEAKER_00

Here it is.

SPEAKER_02

How much?

SPEAKER_00

$74.95.

SPEAKER_02

I must. I I don't believe it. I didn't understand what this was.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, it's a halter. And then look, you go like this customize an item.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, great. We got it. That was like it's a good one. Okay, seven.

SPEAKER_00

It was $100. $74 plus $15. $100 to customize it. $200 because I got two.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Alright. All right. All right.

SPEAKER_00

Not terrible. You thought it was like $500.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. But I thought it was like a little more than just this little like piece of leather. But whatever. Uh so did you have any pop culture for me?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I really just, I really feel like we're really breezing over Sab. I almost said Sappy. I feel like we're breezing over Fabby too fast.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, sorry, Flabby. We didn't pay your respects.

SPEAKER_00

I just want you to know that I drove that trailer two and a half hours home with a horse inside of it by myself. Nobody came with me. I did it all by myself.

SPEAKER_02

And honestly, I was impressed with that.

SPEAKER_00

Let me tell you something. Driving a horse trailer empty, it's like that's easy. Anybody could do that. With a moving horse in the back that weighs like 1,300 pounds.

SPEAKER_02

Do you feel it?

SPEAKER_00

You feel it. And like anytime I would stop, like say I'm at a red light, I'm stopped. If she shifts or like moves her feet at all, I feel it. It's it like kind of like rocks your truck a little bit. And like Michael's truck is not, it's a raptor with no tow package. So it like can only tow up to a certain amount of weight. It's not like these massive, yeah, like platinum F350 trucks that are like made for towing. It's like raptors aren't really made for towing. Yeah, they're just so it's it makes it like even worse. Like you can like really feel it and like trying to slow down. I have so much more respect. And like I'm very like, even just like in a normal car, I am so much more aware now of trailers, semi-trucks, like not cutting in front of them and slamming on your brakes because you need a lot of room to react or else you're not gonna stop.

SPEAKER_02

That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_00

Like this car cut me off today, and literally my life flashed before my eyes, my armpits were tingling, my chin hair was tingling. Like, you know how like when me and you know how like when me and Megan, like when our adrenaline spikes, it's like it makes like our armpits sting. Yeah, that's such a weird response, but like literally I was like, oh my gosh, like I almost mean Fabby almost just died. Like, all because this dumbass like Ford escape cut me off. It actually was really scary.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I'm glad you made it home safe, and I'm glad Flabby's tucked away nice and comfortable in her new stall.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she's loving life.

SPEAKER_02

I was actually very yeah, surprised you did it all by yourself. That's pretty good. Nice job.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I asked Michael to go with me, and he was like, one of us has to work. I'm not going with you. And I was like, you're so right.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Have a good day at work, boss.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm like, mice, see you tomorrow, maybe. I might be too busy with Fabby and Doc.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. Also, at the rodeo, barrel racers, they were flying like so fast.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, do you know that do you know the times?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Like, was it like 17 seconds, 16, 15, 14?

SPEAKER_02

Um, I want to say low 17s.

SPEAKER_00

So probably a standard pattern.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Low 17s flying. They also had a walk-up, though. They're at the end, they were like, oh, and we also had someone that just walked up and is gonna be doing it. Oh, wow.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't know they allowed that.

SPEAKER_02

I know I didn't know that either. Because all these girls were like ranked really good, and then they had a walk-up. I think she probably had like the credentials to just walk up and enter.

SPEAKER_00

Do you remember the name? No, loser.

SPEAKER_02

She was she was gonna win, and then her horse gets to the last barrel and just didn't see it and peels out the wrong way, and they almost crashed into the fence. It was wild.

SPEAKER_00

Shoot, so he ducked the barrel.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's wild.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, if I said some names, would you recognize it?

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely not.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't take any notes.

SPEAKER_00

That's crazy because rodeo is like kind of it's like getting bigger, and like so many people will enter for rodeos that it's like you get put in like a draw, and either you draw performance or you draw slack, which is after everybody leaves the rodeo, they're still going. The Bronk riders, bull riders, ropers, barrel racers, they'll go until one or two in the morning, just depending on how many people entered. So the fact that they let that girl walk up is kind of shocking.

SPEAKER_02

I feel like she was like so people knew her. You know what I mean? I feel like there was something behind it where it's like, oh, we know who this is. We'll let her ride.

SPEAKER_00

But it's wait, can I say the town or no?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's the summit county rodeo.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna look at to see if it's a PCRA.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know what it is, but um Summit County Fair. Yeah, Summit County Fair Rodeo.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, it is a PCRA. Okay, was it Haley Kenzel?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Was it Trisha Aldridge?

SPEAKER_02

You're okay. Where was Ways?

SPEAKER_00

Emily Beisel.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, Carly O'Connor. You're such a dork in the fact that you're like you're just randomly rattling. He's off. Holy cow, I can't speak.

SPEAKER_00

But I want to know who it was.

SPEAKER_02

Give me your pop culture. We we are not here to talk about those.

SPEAKER_00

Pop culture, let's see. Oh, I have one. I have one. Me and Megan were talking about this earlier.

SPEAKER_02

Let's hear it.

SPEAKER_00

The Tate McRae Neutrogena ad. First of all, Tate McCrae is like one of the biggest pop stars in the world right now.

SPEAKER_02

While you talk about this, Megan sent it to me. I haven't watched it yet, so I'm gonna watch it right now.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, watch it. So for those of you not watching it or haven't seen it, first of all, are you living under a rock? Second of all, this Tate McCrae, one of the biggest pop stars in the world right now. She's on her private jet. It's a Neutrogena ad. So they are paying her to do this. And for those of you who don't know anything about content creation or having an ad, you have to take the video, then you have to like write the text over like, and with the FTC, you have to say like Neutrogena partner or paid ad or whatever it is that they want you to say in the hashtags. Um then you have to send it to your manager and their like marketing person, and they have to approve it. So it goes through like multiple people to approve it. And getting things approved is hard. It's like, oh, we didn't like that you said this. Can you redo the whole five-story set?

SPEAKER_02

People think it's actually very annoying.

SPEAKER_00

It's actually so annoying.

SPEAKER_02

Super annoying ones.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It's like, and some people are so nitpicky. They're like, actually, we didn't like the way that you brought your hand up on this. And but we really want it to be like super, super organic. But like, can you say this, this, this, this, this? And it's like, well, first of all, I wouldn't ever say it like that, but like you're paying me, so I guess I will say it like that, you know?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So anyway, she gets this Neutrogena makeup wipe, puts it like around her fingers, and is like acting like she's taking off her makeup. She doesn't, the wipe doesn't touch her skin. Then she gets the moisturizer and she's like pretending to do it on her eyeshadow. It's like dark eyeshadow. She takes it away. Her eyeshadow is still 100% intact. Not one smudge. It's like still perfectly like she just got her makeup done. Then she puts the moisturizer on and she's like, Oh, yeah. Rubbing air on her skin.

SPEAKER_02

Can I get my live reaction, eh?

SPEAKER_00

Thank you. Thanks, Neutrogena. On her private jet. It's like, first of all, I want to know if they were just like, okay, whatever, it's Tate McRae. We can't like push back on her. Or if they were like, this was amazing, thank you so much. I and I also want to know how much they paid her.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, she probably got paid because she has how many followers? Like a lot of people. I think your mom, someone looked it up. I think maybe did. It was like 13 million or something like that. So I bet she's getting paid like 200k plus.

SPEAKER_00

She is 9.8 million.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe half a million dollars for this thing. And I bet yeah, I bet in the contract it was like she has full reign to do whatever she wants. Because I mean, some with that status, it was probably like, all right, you do it, it's fine, we'll take what you give us. Maybe. But my reaction, so I'm watching this right now. This she 100% was like her manager was just, hey, you gotta do this ad, hopped on the plane and just pretend and just did it in literally 10 seconds and probably and just made a half a million dollars.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah. Like she just got done with her concert. They're flying to the next city. Her manager's like, here, hurry, they're paying you 50 grand to do this. Do two stories. I don't know. I just I just made that up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I bet it's I bet it's probably close. 100 to 200k. Half a million dollars. Probably.

SPEAKER_00

Like literally a 30-second story.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. This is insane. She literally is she she truly does not touch her face with anything. She pulls up her finger with the stuff on it. She doesn't even have it on.

SPEAKER_00

No, she doesn't. She doesn't have it on.

SPEAKER_02

Her face is plastered in makeup. And none of it comes off. And then like the best though is when she puts on the little eye patches. And like her face, her face is like, what the heck am I even doing with these? Like, I've never even touched these before. And now I'm putting them on my face.

SPEAKER_00

I know. It's so funny. And it's like.

SPEAKER_02

But my question was, do you think they did it on purpose? Similar to like the McDonald's thing. You know how that went super viral? Because the the CEO barely took the bite. You didn't see that?

SPEAKER_00

No. But I do love McDonald's. Oh, that sounds so good right now. I am like starving. I could eat In N Out McDonald's Taco Bell. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, can I just finish my thought?

SPEAKER_00

I like I need to DoorDash Taco Bell right now. Do I get Taco Bell McDonald's or In N Out? Well, if you do Taco Bell, you're gonna have you're gonna have the No, I had Taco Bell like two weeks ago and I was totally fine.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, but anyway, can I finish my thought about tape?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, sorry, sorry, sorry, you said McDonald's and I'm so hungry. Fat girl inside me got triggered.

SPEAKER_02

Truly.

SPEAKER_00

Are we gonna have to take that out?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_00

Are people gonna get offended?

SPEAKER_02

Tough. So anyway, back to my thought. So you didn't see when the CEO of McDonald's ate the burger?

SPEAKER_00

No, and I don't know why, because I mean That was like the biggest news story ever. Maybe this is a hot take. McDonald's is good.

SPEAKER_02

No, so what happened? The CEO, they're supposed to be introducing this new burger. The CEO has the big burger and he's like saying something how he's having a you know, my a good lunch or something today, puts it up to his mouth, literally takes like the tiniest bite, and then talks about how he took the biggest bite, and it was such a full bite, blah blah blah blah blah. And like doesn't even taste the food, right? And so then everyone gave him crap because like what is happening? You're the CEO, you won't even eat McDonald's food and everything. Yeah. So my thought is do you think this is similar to that to like get people all riled up because you clearly see she's not doing anything?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, yeah, and everyone is talking about it. Like everyone is like laughing about it. They're like, honestly, it's iconic because one, it got approved, two, she got her bag, and three, she kept her makeup on and she still looked hot. It's like and and people are talking about Neutrogena now. I haven't talked about Neutrogena in years.

SPEAKER_02

So I think it might have been the whole marketing plan.

SPEAKER_00

Which is maybe this was their plan, and they're like, Wahaha, like they think we're dumb. Little do they know.

SPEAKER_02

I told I honestly think that's what it was because they saw the McDonald's thing and they're like, let's just do the McDonald's spin. And especially with someone like her that's that big, that's yeah, pretty genius.

SPEAKER_00

Could I I mean maybe if that truly was their plan, that is like a genius marketing, but I kind of feel like that's not how it was.

SPEAKER_02

I think we underestimate sometimes how manipulated we are by the way. I mean, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, I mean, we are definitely manipulated by the media for sure.

SPEAKER_02

And not by the media, but just like companies and the way they spin things, they do things that seem like it was like a coincidence or wasn't planned, but it was all planned.

SPEAKER_00

No, PR people really are like so good.

SPEAKER_02

Speaking of which, we need some PR people to help get you know our podcasts out there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, if you're a PR person or a producer, podcast producer, like call us. Like, let's get this big.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, let's go.

SPEAKER_00

So that I can keep buying horses and I don't have to board them somewhere. I can just build my own.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, exactly. Or we just go through maybe just enter the lottery.

SPEAKER_00

I kind of have a feeling that if we would have entered, we would have won.

SPEAKER_02

Could you imagine? But no, we can't talk about it because it makes me kind of sad. What if we would have won?

SPEAKER_00

No, it makes me sick to think that we just lost out on 600 million.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we lost. We truly we were weird about spending 20 bucks, but that 20 bucks was actually 600 million dollars.

SPEAKER_00

No, it makes me sick. I have to stop talking about it.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, we'll stop. We'll stop.

SPEAKER_00

I was I had another pop culture thing. What was I gonna say?

SPEAKER_02

Okay, and then I had a little new new segment for us.

SPEAKER_00

Hold on, I have too young.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my heck.

SPEAKER_00

I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_02

You take 10 minutes to get to your thought. Give it to us. What is it?

SPEAKER_00

I'm trying to oh, I remember. I was I couldn't remember for a second. Okay, the next pop culture thing. Remember Molly May from Love Island and Tommy Fury?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I loved them.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so their little girl Bambi. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

She's probably like the worst name in history, but keep going.

SPEAKER_00

It's actually so cute. Like when they first announced it, I was like, really Bambi? But she is so cute and she makes that name Darling. Like nobody else could have that name except for her because she is perfect. She's, I think she's Weston's age, maybe a little younger. So Molly Mae gets on stories and or on her vlog or something, and was like, Yeah, I was gonna do like a day in the life video, and I was vlogging, and they were at like this pizza joint in London. And she was like, I was vlogging, and then all of a sudden, Bambi puts this like stranger kid in a headlock. Like what? Like she put the two-year-old, two or three-year-old Bambi Fury, put a kid that they don't know. It's not like it was her friend, it was like some other kid there trying to eat his pizza or whoever it was, and she puts him in a headlock.

SPEAKER_01

I actually love that.

SPEAKER_00

That's cool and Molly Mae is like we don't put people in headlocks, and she like went through a biting phase like not too long ago where she was biting people, and all of the memes of like Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury, and the dad fury, like just like being so proud that Bambi at like two years old is like putting kids in headlocks, like it is. I was dying laughing at some of the memes, like they are so funny.

SPEAKER_02

I love that.

SPEAKER_00

That is funny, and they just had like this son. Molly, may, and Tommy had their second kid. He's like a newborn baby, and it everybody is like, they thought that the son was gonna carry on the legacy, but it's gonna be Bambi, like putting people in headlocks at two years old.

SPEAKER_02

That would be actually legit. That's funny. I love them.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, if you're missing have you seen their show? No, at home with the Furies on Netflix.

SPEAKER_02

No, I haven't watched it. Is it good?

SPEAKER_00

It mostly follows Tyson and his wife. Um oh, yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

It's about Tyson Fury, not about Switch Tommy.

SPEAKER_00

But Tommy and Molly, they're in it a little bit. Like they announced like that they were pregnant with Bambi on the show, whatever. Or maybe it was the second. No, it was Bambi. Anyway, it's actually so funny because they're travelers. I didn't know that they were travelers.

SPEAKER_02

What do you mean, travelers?

SPEAKER_00

So travelers is like almost like a religion. Actually, don't quote me on that. It's like a I don't know if it's more of like a culture or more of a religion, okay, but it's almost like gypsies. Like they're gypsies, but like rich.

SPEAKER_02

Interesting. Like I still am confused, but keep going.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I don't want to like misspeak here, so let me just like Google.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

What are travelers in the UK? Okay. In the United Kingdom, a traveler belongs to a specific distinct ethnic and cultural communities with traditional with a traditional history of nomadism. The umbrella term gypsy Roma and traveler. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So like they just they're just constantly move, like, they're nomads. They don't live in the same spot. They're constantly moving.

SPEAKER_00

Tyson Fury Traveler.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, what do we got?

SPEAKER_00

Tyson Fury is an English heavyweight boxing champion of English traveler descent, proudly bearing the nickname the Gypsy King. He is most globally recognized figure from the nomadic minority ethnic group and frequently features his heritage, culture, traditions, and family life in media like his Netflix are uh okay. Yeah, I don't really know what it is, okay? But Google a traveler wedding, they are psycho.

SPEAKER_02

First of all, they're like kind of I'm so confused about this whole thing, but okay.

SPEAKER_00

They're kind of like um not like the polygamist at all because it's like they just have one wife, but like a little bit like the polygamous in the sense where like you get married at like 16.

SPEAKER_02

Oh. People would say like the Mormons as well, but not ASEAN.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So like their daughter, what's her face? Valencia or something. Okay. She just got married, and I think she was like 17. But like that is what all the that's what you do in the traveler culture. Like you get married very young. Kind of, yeah, kind of like the Mormons. You get married very young, you pop out those babies, and it's like you're the mom, you take care of the home, you take care of the children, and the husband goes and works, but like they make a lot of money. Well, I mean, yeah, it's just like life is life is hard enough. Money makes a little better, okay?

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

But like on TikTok, I'll just like randomly see like traveler weddings. They are the most over-the-top extravagant, like borderline, like too much. It's a lot.

SPEAKER_02

That's actually surprising coming from me.

SPEAKER_00

Like every inch of the room, there if there's a wall, every inch of the wall will be covered in something. Glitter, lights, flowers. There is not one bare spot in the room.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I wouldn't like that. That's anyway. Enough about the Furies and their travelers. I love them though. I'm gonna have to do some research into them.

SPEAKER_00

Do some research on the travelers, because like I'm not good at talking about stuff like that.

SPEAKER_02

Do you see what I had today?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I haven't even had Swig today.

SPEAKER_02

But I know I was driving.

SPEAKER_00

What'd you get?

SPEAKER_02

I saw one. Well, the founder, of course. That's what I always get. And I was shocked. I had never had one in Texas.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, there there are like a lot of locations in Texas now and Arizona.

SPEAKER_02

I'm actually surprised. I would love to open up uh Not I don't like swig as much as I like. What's the one with the T? Uh uh what's the freak is it called?

SPEAKER_00

Thirst.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, thirst.

SPEAKER_00

See, I am a ride or die swig girl.

SPEAKER_02

Thirst is so much better. The beignets, which I can't have anymore, but they are unreal.

SPEAKER_00

I will say the beignets are really good at thirst. But the salted pretzels are really good at swig.

SPEAKER_02

Never had them.

SPEAKER_00

The coconut lime cookie, you love the coconut lime cookie.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that is very good. I will give you that. I would love to open up a thirst here in Dallas. But sometimes I feel like I would feel guilty serving things that are killing people to them. You know what I mean? Oh. You know what I'm like? I'm causing people to be sick. But everyone has the free agency. You can do what you want. That's your choice.

SPEAKER_00

But like you go to thirst. What's making you sick the beignets? Because you're like gluten intolerant or what?

SPEAKER_02

No, I no. I'm just saying, like soda's.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, because soda's like bad for you.

SPEAKER_02

So it's terrible for you. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you know. It's like they're gonna drink it anyway. You may as well monetize from it. Don't let chevron, big chevron, big oil and gas.

SPEAKER_02

How did this just turn into big oil and gas?

SPEAKER_00

No, I love all the TikToks when they're like, like, I saw this girl, and she was like, I remember this day vividly. It was 2008, and big wheat got my mom. And it's like when when like big wheat turned her mom against white bread, and they were never allowed to have white bread ever again. And she's like, Have you ever had to put PB and J on a piece of wheat bread? It sucks. And she was like, We need to stop big wheat. And like, so now at any time, I'm like, yeah, big wheat, big what did I just say, big oil and gas. We have to stop them.

SPEAKER_02

We gotta not let them win. And we need to put our own soda shops in since where they're making the money because they don't actually do the can they don't own the food and drink in the gas station.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you know, I didn't realize that until like two years ago.

SPEAKER_02

That's hilarious.

SPEAKER_00

Like I just thought it was an all Chevron.

SPEAKER_02

Chevron just has a massive uh concessions department just selling food and drink. That's funny. Um, but yeah, Swig, it was great. And also, I just looked down at myself and realized, wow, I look insane.

SPEAKER_00

Um the bare arms is a crazy move.

SPEAKER_02

You don't like them?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_02

Um, I had a new segment for us.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, let's hear it.

SPEAKER_02

This one is called Husband Translation.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So it's like what a line uh a husband would text to their wife, and I am gonna interpret it. I want you to also help interpret it. Okay. Because, you know, it's kind of help because I mean, most people that listen to this are women, right? Everybody. So the idea is people could also send them in, but if your husband texts you something or you want to know what they're truly thinking, then we can interpret it to tell you.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Do you like it or not?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. No, I actually do because I just feel like guys and girls' brains are so different. It's like he could say one thing. It's like, I guarantee you, when you read some of these, I am going to take it like the complete opposite of how you'll take it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, these are all very simple. And also, I think wives quickly learn how dumb their husbands are.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And so this might not be as good because they already know what their husband's thinking when they text it. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

But it could be good for like girls, like for girls in my position who are dating who like you don't know them that well yet. You don't, it's like you're still trying to like figure it out.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. So these are some warm-up ones. These are light, like they're just one-liners text. First one. I was literally about to do that. Husband sends that. Oh, like you did something. Oh, yeah, yeah. I was literally about to do that.

SPEAKER_00

What's your punctuation?

SPEAKER_02

Just a period. I mean, no, it doesn't have to. The punctuation doesn't matter. It could be exclamation point, it could be period. It doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_00

The punctuation actually does matter. Because if it's an exclamation mark, he's he's like, oh my gosh, I was literally just about to do that. Like, I can't believe we did the same thing. If it's a period, he's gonna be like, Why did you do that? I was literally just it's like taking out the garbage cans. Why would you take out the garbage cans? I was literally just about to do that.

SPEAKER_02

That's crazy you took it that way. Because from a dude's standpoint, that's a wow. I'm so grateful you you did that because I had zero intention of doing that. It's like you just took out the garbage. Oh, thanks. I was literally just about to do that. Oh, that's actually I didn't did not want any part of taking out the garbage. I'm so glad you did that because I wasn't going to. Or, oh, you picked up dinner. What?

SPEAKER_00

But then why would he say I was literally about to do that?

SPEAKER_02

Just to like make it feel like so the wife feels like he had the intention of doing it. Do you get that? So it's like, because if I say to you, if you say, okay, say you, okay, we're this is weird, but we're playing role play here. You text me, oh, I just took out the trash, or I went and picked something up from the store. If I said, Oh, thanks, like, you would just be like, oh, like you're not even like you, or I don't know how to explain this, but it's like something that you're doing.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not I'm not following where you're going with this.

SPEAKER_02

Stop, stop. Just listen and stop looking at your phone. Like, what are you doing? I can see you're looking at your phone.

SPEAKER_00

I know I door dashed the girls' um food because they're in choreography all night until like 10 p.m.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And it delivered to the wrong thing, so I I was trying to do the door dash to get the money back, but I'll wait till after the podcast.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you. We're almost done. I appreciate it.

SPEAKER_00

Capri is raging.

SPEAKER_02

Of course. So um, no, the point is this you text me and tell me you did something. Say, okay, you went and picked up something from the store. And you said, Oh, I just got this from the store. I want to show you, but you like kind of had expectations that I would do it, if that makes sense. It was maybe something you wanted me to do, but I didn't want to do it. And so to show that I had the intention of helping or doing something and going to the store to get it, I'll say, Oh, wow, I was literally about to do that. Does that make sense?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm following what you're saying now before I was not following what you were saying. Um, yeah, I would not have thought that.

SPEAKER_02

It's literally the husband is just trying to show that he had the intention of helping, of doing that for you, but in reality, he had he had zero intention of doing it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, how do you know? Maybe he was, maybe he's like, oh my gosh, I literally was just about to do that. It's like when you're like, Don't ever believe that. I just I just went to McDonald's. Oh my gosh, I literally was just about to go to McDonald's.

SPEAKER_02

If a guy texts you that, that is complete bullshit. Oh whenever, whenever a guy is just like, oh, I was literally about to do that, or blah, blah, blah. Like, it's just, especially when you're dating, that's literally just to show that he has he he has the same interest as you, or he's trying to like suck up and make it seem like you guys are the same.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I okay, I will agree with you on that. I feel like it's either yours or not the one where it's like, oh, I was literally just about to do that. Maybe the one where she's like, Okay, I took out the garbage cans. And he's like, Okay, well, I was literally just about to do that. So why would you do that? Like something like that. I feel like it was either yours or that.

SPEAKER_02

Well, why would he say, oh gosh, I'm losing my headphones. Why would he say, so you can see my nice armpits, um, he's not gonna say, Oh, I was literally just about to take the garbage. Why would you do that?

SPEAKER_00

Like, sometimes Michael says that to me. But that's or like Shannon will like Shannon will be like, Can you get me this? And then he'll, he's like, Yeah, I'll do it in a minute. And then she'll get up and do it, and he's like, Hey, I was just about to get up. Like, why would you do that? And then he's like all annoyed.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, because he was gonna do it. That it's just totally different, totally different, totally different scenario because he was asked to do it, and now she got up and did it. But he had the intention, like he was literally going to do it. This is he had the intention. This is when you have zero intention. Like you have zero intention to actually do it, so you say But how do you know what the intention is?

SPEAKER_00

That's what I'm saying. How do you know what the intention is from one sentence? You don't.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, you do. I'm telling you, you you you send me the text you show me, I can tell you if the guy actually had the intention or not. I promise.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

If it's like a bad task, like that he truly doesn't want to do, like taking out the garbage or going to the store or getting something outside, or changing the poopy diaper, like that's a classic one with Megan. Megan also pulls that shiz on me too, where it's like, oh, you changed his diaper? Ah, I was literally just about to do that. Like, no, you weren't. You were not about to change the freaking poopy diaper.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's actually so funny.

SPEAKER_02

Like, it's it's so true. But people say it, you say it because you want the person to think, I was gonna do it, but you really weren't. Like, ah, shoot, you changed it. Ah, I was just about to do it. Like Meg and I both we both do it to each other, and so now we both laugh about it because we know like what we both were thinking.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you're like, shut up, no, you weren't.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, next.

SPEAKER_02

That was the first one. I don't care whatever you want.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, no, I wouldn't like that. If somebody said that to me, I'd be like, oh, they are mad, and they do care. Like, for example, if somebody texted that to me and we were like deciding on where to go eat, or I don't know, and they were like, I don't care, whatever you want. I would be like, okay, you do care and not whatever I want. But like you're being like passive aggressive, or like you're hangry and you don't want to make a decision. Like sometimes Michael will do that, and he'll be like, I've been making decisions all day. You guys figure out where to get food or what to make or whatever. And we're like, okay, well, what about this? And he'll be like, I don't care, just make it. And it's like, well, okay, but obviously you do care. Like, I can tell that that doesn't sound good to you. And he's like, no, just decide. I don't want to decide. And I'm like, well, but you do care, and you would rather have burgers over mac and cheese for the seventh night in the in a row. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

No, you're wrong again. Completely. Oh. You just described exactly the right answer, but you're you're reading it the wrong way. Your dad, he just doesn't want to have to think about it. He just wants you to do it.

SPEAKER_00

No, but I know deep down something does sound better to him. So I'm like, just tell me what sounds better to you.

SPEAKER_02

But that's what makes him that's what okay, Megan does the same thing. That's what makes us so annoyed. It's like I literally said, I don't care. Just pick it, do it, and I'll be happy. I don't want to have a lot of.

SPEAKER_00

I want to know why.

SPEAKER_02

Why?

SPEAKER_00

It's because when you guys ask us, it's like, oh, what do you want? And we're like, oh, I don't care, whatever you want. It's because deep down we're like, this place sounds really good. Say this place. And then you don't say that place, and you're like, okay, yeah, whatever, whatever you want sounds good. And then you're like annoyed that they didn't say the place that you were thinking.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. Yeah, that that honestly like brings rage to me because that happens with Megan and I all the time because we're both super indecisive with deciding where to eat. And then we then I'll make a decision, and it's like, ugh, that's what you want. And it's like, you just said you don't care. But when a guy says it, he really just wants her to make the decision and we just like go. So if I like I say this all the time to Megan, I don't care, whatever you want. It's not because I'm mad. It's truly just like, if you just said, I want to go to now, let's go. I'd be like, I'd be like the greatest day ever. I'd be like, okay, great, let's go. But then when instead of when it's like, oh no, like what do you really want? Like you say your dad, it's infuriating.

SPEAKER_00

You want to know what sounds so good right now. You fat my mouth just started watering a little bit. You ready?

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, can you guess? Try to try to guess, like telepathy. Try to guess.

SPEAKER_02

What sounds really good to you?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Like, do you like this? You go to place often.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_02

Where's it at? Give me the city.

SPEAKER_00

Not in Utah. If I say the city, it's gonna be obvious.

SPEAKER_02

Is it in Texas?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Mexican sugar.

SPEAKER_00

No, you idiot. No, you idiot. No. No.

SPEAKER_02

What?

SPEAKER_00

Carry blacks, you dumbass.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, really? I didn't think you liked it that much.

SPEAKER_00

No, it sounds so good right now. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02

I actually I think I'm gonna go somewhere like that after this.

SPEAKER_00

So like the tri-tip and the turkey and the mac and cheese. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02

They don't have tri-tip, cutie.

SPEAKER_00

What do we get? The brisket?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, whatever. It looks like tri-tip.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, next one.

unknown

Last one.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, we gotta wrap this up because I like actually I'm starving.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, please. This is the last one. Do you want me to come with you?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, well, okay, no, no. I changed my reaction. Say it again.

unknown

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I'm the guy. You say, Oh, I need to go do something. I'm gonna go pick this up. Do you want me to come with you?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think that's like, do you want me to come with you? I'll come with you if you want. Well, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Let me let me change it. It's like, do you want me to come with you? I'd be like, Yeah. Or I'd be like, no, stay here, you loser. I've got to get away for a sec. What's what I don't like is I'm going here. You can come if you want. It's like, well, do you want me to come?

SPEAKER_02

No, this is my girl's saying.

SPEAKER_00

It's more from like when a friend's, it's like, oh, we're going here. We're going here for dinner. You can come if you want. It's like, well, obviously I didn't get invited.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you that's true.

SPEAKER_00

So no, I don't want to come. And you're giving me like a weird pity invite. I don't like that. But if a guy was like, Do you want me to come? I would be like, I don't know, do you want to come? If you want to come, come. If you don't want to come, don't come. I don't really care.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. Why are you getting so freaking angry for no reason?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Guys, I'm getting a little hangry. So, like, really, we gotta like wrap this up.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I got it. Stop saying it.

SPEAKER_00

Um, some circle mints. I gotta I gotta break into the circle mints.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. No. Okay, there is a difference. If you're dating and the guy says, Do you want me to come with you? That is a genuine, like, I'm just trying to see, like, am I being annoying or do you really want me to come with you? Like, that's genuine. If you're married, once again, it's like, I'm going to the store. Oh, do you want me to come with you? That's a hell no, I don't want to go with you. Half function.

SPEAKER_00

Like, you know, I don't want to go, but like, I'm offering like to be nice.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's like, don't tell me to go with you. I'm gonna stay and do something else or mistake home.

SPEAKER_00

Like, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So, what did you think of the new segment?

SPEAKER_00

I actually liked it. I think because I think it's funny how it's like we're like kind of different.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, this interpretation. You just read into it so much, and then dudes are just so simple. Like, I don't know. Anyway, well, that is well, I had judge and jury, but you're over here just hangry.

SPEAKER_00

So Well, let's do a judge and jury. Let's just do one. Hurry.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh. All right. One judge and jury. We told my husband's family the name we'd picked when I was 20 weeks. We've kind of done one like this, but first grandson on that side, named after my grandpa who raised me. My sister-in-law was due seven weeks after me. She used it. She had her baby first. She says it's a family name too, and she never agreed to reserve it. Technically, her husband has a great uncle with the same name. My mother says I'm making my son's birth about a fight. I've not told anyone this, but I don't want to go to the blessing. What do you think? And if okay, you get off your phone. You didn't even listen to what I just said.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't hear a word you just said.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I'm not gonna reread it. Basic- you are such a freaking idiot. Oh my gosh. I truly that that just made me really mad.

SPEAKER_00

I'm so sorry. Go.

SPEAKER_02

Uh no. Well, I'm just gonna give my opinion, and I guess that's it. Um, I think if you steal someone's name before they like, so if you're gonna have a baby and then someone else in your family steals that same name from you, I would be pretty bugged. Like if someone is okay, stop chewing your freaking mitt into the microphone.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, I muted my microphone.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, well, I can hear you. Anyway, I would be pretty annoyed. Like if someone stole Dean or Weston and like from actually sibling and we had told everybody that was gonna be the name, and then they went and used it, I would be pretty pissed. And I'd be really mad at the mother-in-law. I'd be like, like you are just protecting your child, and if it was you, you'd be pissed if your sister or someone stole your name that you were gonna use. So I I think she has a right to be mad. And I agree. But it's hard. Don't go to the blessings, like a big statement. So I guess in for people who don't know, in the Church of Jesus Christ Lattery Saints, when a baby is born, they will typically do like a blessing just of like health and just a blessing for their life. Uh between like two to maybe like six months or a little bit older. And so the whole family usually comes for that. And so it's a big moment because it's like the first real thing in church with the baby. And it's like um, and you give the baby like their official name. And the boys are very can you hear them yelling? I I don't know if you can hear on the mic, but I can hear them super loud right now. But anyway, I think you're justified for being mad, but I think you gotta go to the blessing.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You can't you can't ditch the blessing. Don't punish a child.

SPEAKER_00

I agree. I was just gonna say, you can't like punish the kids.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's like, yes, does it suck and is it so annoying? Yeah. But like find a different name. I don't know. Or name your kid the same name.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you can't do that. You can't name the cousins the same name. Are you crazy?

SPEAKER_00

Why not? Who cares?

SPEAKER_02

That's like everyone was when we I think we were pregnant with Weston. A lot of you were saying, Oh, name him Jack. Name him Jack. I was like, what are you talking about? We have a Jackson. That's a cousin. You can't name them the same name.

SPEAKER_00

But no one ever calls him Jackson, everyone calls him Bear.

SPEAKER_02

And also, you have no idea what's gonna happen.

SPEAKER_00

No one ever calls him Jack either.

SPEAKER_02

But also, you have no idea what he's gonna want to go by when he's 40 years old.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I agree. I would say if you're the type of cousins that like see each other like once or twice or even three times a year, I'd be like, yeah, name him the same name. Who cares? But where it's like our family, where it's like we're so interconnected and they're seeing each other like every day, then it's like, yeah, you can't really do that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I just agree with that. No, I think you can't name the same name. No, no. Well, we can have different opinion, that's fine. But I think you can't. I think that's that's a little weird.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But anyway. So I think that family, the in-laws are guilty, they suck. But you gotta go to the baby blessing.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It's always so hard to do. I'm not very good at that.

SPEAKER_00

Well, and this is the thing. At the end of the day, whoever has the baby first, they get the first say.

SPEAKER_02

But if you publicly tell the family, I'm naming my child this name.

SPEAKER_00

Then don't, then don't publicly like I always wondered why people were always like, oh, I'm not, like, I'm we're not saying what we're naming him, but like we have a few ideas. I never really understood that. But now, because people are so weird and crazy, and they hear something and they're like, Oh yeah, I like that name. I'm gonna use it. It's like, okay, yeah, now I understand why people don't say.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So don't learn your lesson or tell them like a really ugly name, like if they're ever pregnant at the same time again. They're like, okay, and they're having the same baby, like the same gender. Be like, okay, I'm thinking of this name. And like have it be like super, super ugly.

SPEAKER_02

Like, we're gonna name our child 10. Olga 44. 44. We're just gonna name him a number.

SPEAKER_00

Olga or something like that.

SPEAKER_02

You could be a good Olga, you know. Okay, like on Hey Arnold, like the blonde Olga. Like you kind of remind me of her.

SPEAKER_00

So rude. When I used to get my eyebrows laminated, I legit looked like Olga behind a picture. But yeah, I would be like, oh yeah, we're this is like a family name. We're obsessed with this name, Olga. No offense to anybody out there who's named Olga.

SPEAKER_02

But love you, Olgs. Sorry.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Illy, but like not the best name. So, and then that's like the real test if they're just like truly out to get you. Or maybe because this is the other thing. I have a list of names on my phone that I have had since like legit middle school. I would never use some of the names on that list now, but it's like I like to be like, oh yeah, that's what I liked when I was 16, or oh, that's what I liked two weeks ago, but now I hate it. Do you know what I mean? So it's like maybe that truly was on her list.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe. Who knows?

SPEAKER_00

You never know.

SPEAKER_02

Regardless, I think the person sucks. Well, that is the end of episode 32. Let's hear it. Give us our sign off.
